The other day Coop was running in and out of the house in his Batman PJ's. The door bell rang and I assumed it was a neighbor. I opened the door to this picture. He had found the rest of the costume and put it on by himself. I couldn't stop laughing. Halloween never stops at the Rich house! I love that kid!

Mrs. Rich
Ruby's teacher asked me to sub for both am and pm kindergarten today. I can't believe I used to be a teacher. I am exhausted! I bet I tied 15 pairs of shoes today! Lets just say I love to be home with my kids! That is the nice way of saying there were a couple of kids I was ready to drop kick!

Halloween
I love Halloween. I think I like it more than my kids. Ruby woke up sick and throwing up, so unfortunatly she missed her first Halloween parade. I think she gets excited and makes herself sick. I have decided not to tell her Christmas is coming or she might SPEW! She stayed home and puked while I watched Cooper in the parade. Cooper was Spiderman with black cowboy boots. The costume is so small that I can't fasten it in the back and it rides up his spiderman underwear! I am a room mother in Ruby's class, so I helped with the party without her. She was fine when school was over. We had the funnest dinner at Grandma Retta's. She made clown salads, sea monster sandwiches, jack o lantern shakes, and Maccaroni and cheese and worms. She is fabulous! Then we went trunk or treating. I told my kids if they didn't say thanks I would get to eat the candy. They learned fast! Ruby went as a peacock princess and then changed into her favorite cat suit for trick or treating around the neighborhood. My kids were sick of trick or treating. They kept asking when we were going to go home. The day after, we graphed our goods.

My new favorite book!
We have had all sorts of stuff going on. Matt is busy applying to Grad school (North Carolina, Texas, New York and Indiana). It will be exciting to see what happens!
Ruby finally lost her first tooth (after 3 months of torture for me). She told me that she didn't believe in the tooth fairy because I'd told her that fairies weren't real. I asked if she wanted her to still come so she agreed to believe.
Cooper doesn't like to say prayers. He gets a stamp on his prayer chart if he does pray and he can't watch tv if he doesn't. So today he asks me if he can say a prayer and I say sure. In his prayer he says, "Heavenly Father please bless my mom will let me watch tv!" His prayer was answered.
I love these pictures! There is nothing better than when your kids are best friends!
