We LOVE our Grandparents!!!

We had so much fun with our special guests last week! We ate lots of yummy food, fun walks, great talks and good times. We are so thankful to have wonderful grandparents and are so happy they would drive ALL the way to Bloomington, Indiana to visit us! It was hard to watch them drive away. Speaking of going away, a good chunk of our friends left B-Town this week. We came in as a group 2 years ago so it is weird to watch them all leave. We feel so very blessed to have made so many great friends here. Thanks for all the good times and great memories. My life has definitely been enriched by the people we have met here. Happy trails y'all!
Ruby's Baptism

Ruby was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on May 15, 2010. It was an amazing day. We were lucky enough to have Papa and Sharon and Grandma and Papa Rich here to celebrate with us. We felt so much love and support from our family and friends. We have the greatest ward!Ruby and some of her friends sang I Know that my Savior Loves me. I LOVE the words:
1. A long time ago in a beautiful place,
Children were gathered ’round Jesus.
He blessed and taught as they felt of His love.
Each saw the tears on His face.
The love that He felt for His little ones
I know He feels for me.
I did not touch Him or sit on His knee,
Yet, Jesus is real to me.
Chorus
I know He lives!
I will follow faithfully.
My heart I give to Him.
I know that my Savior loves me.
2. Now I am here in a beautiful place,
Learning the teachings of Jesus.
Parents and teachers will help guide the way,
Lighting my path ev’ry day.
Wrapped in the arms of my Savior’s love,
I feel His gentle touch.
Living each day, I will follow His way,
Home to my Father above.
Chorus
Learning the teachings of Jesus.
Parents and teachers will help guide the way,
Lighting my path ev’ry day.
Wrapped in the arms of my Savior’s love,
I feel His gentle touch.
Living each day, I will follow His way,
Home to my Father above.
Chorus
I am so proud of Ruby for choosing to be baptized. I am so happy that Ruby has chosen to follow Jesus Christ everyday for the rest of her life. I hope she will always remember how special this day was. Love your Rubes!

Coop Dawg

One of the many big events that we got to celebrate this week was Coop's birthday! I can't believe my favorite big boy is 6! Here are just 6 of the hundreds of things I love about him:
- He likes to cuddle in the mornings.
- He is very creative and can build ANY thing with LEGOS!
- He loves to help me bake (especially the testing part).
- He loves to be home with me.
- He loves to wrestle.
- He thinks syrup should be in a food group of its own.
Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze!

500 Festival

To celebrate graduation, Matt ran the Indy 500 Festival half marathon. 13.1 miles baby!!! It was absolutely frEEziNG!!! 40,000 people run this race. That doesn't seem that impressive until you actually see how many people that is. It took 30 minutes for the last people in the corrals to even get to the start of the race. Yay DADDY!!!
Pomp and circumstance!

We did it! Matt graduated from the Kelley School of Business! I am so proud of him. He has worked his can off. What a great day. The ceremony was held at the IU auditorium and was followed by a luncheon at the new part of Memorial Stadium. Cooper wanted to hang out with his friends and eat school lunch instead of attending these "boring" events! It was really weird knowing that this was the last time we would see a lot of these people. We have absolutely loved the Kelley experience. There is an amazing sense of teamwork and family here. We are really going to miss being students at this great university. Way to go Muzz!!!

"The place to be happy is here and the time to be happy is now. In a very real way, we are the authors of our own lives. We do not remember days, we remember moments. Life is the journey~live your life on purpose... Every moment is a place we have never been. Meet today with expectation, enthusiasm and surprise its time to start living the life you've imagined!!!!" I stole this from my friends blog. I LOVE it.
Matt will graduate from the Kelley School of Business in just 5 days!!! I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard! Go DADDY go!!
We still don't know where and when we are going. I know I should be freaking out, but I feel at peace. I know God has a plan for us and that He loves our little family. I am so thankful for that knowledge.
We are having all sorts of goodbye parties as things come to an end. We have met so many awesome people here in Bloomington. Our lives have truly been enriched by the friendships we have made here. This is going to be a hard month saying goodbye to some very dear friends.
