Robert Hanmer Peterson: My Daddy

For my dads 80th birthday I put together a bunch of pictures and memories from his amazing life.  He is such a good man.  I am so blessed to be his daughter.  He is 100% good.  I can't think of an unkind thing he has ever done or said.  I love him so very much and am honored to be his.  Happy Fathers Day Dad!

Here are some of my favorite pictures of him.
I think Rocky is related to his Papa
Notice the sign that says Gas 18 cents!

Surprise!

Packing for one, hanging out in the airport and sitting on a plane all by myself was a picnic.  I highly recommend it to every mother.
I stayed with my brother in Salt Lake.  HE let me try on HIS shoes.

So fun to meet up with dear friends.
Loved my Utah staples: Cafe Rio and fry sauce!
The mountains were MASSIVE.  How did these huge mountains ever become normal to me?
The whole point of my trip to to surprise my dad on a camping trip in Moab for his 80th birthday.  He was surprised to tears.  He is holding the book we made him for his birthday.  He loved it.  All the late nights were worth it as I watched him look through it.
Every family has a superhero, this is ours.

We hiked Delicate Arch as a family.  Let me remind you that my dad is 80.  He rocks!  Coolest brothers ever!
We love selfies!  Goofiness is genetic.
3 of my favorite brothers.  I am sure Mike was there in spirit.

This is what 3 days of no humidity did to my skin.

We caught a frog, my niece and I decided to kiss it.  As I went to kiss it, he jumped out of my hands towards my face.  I went in 10%, he went 90.  I screamed like a little girl and laughed until I cried.
 Comparing genetics.

 Ouch!
I am so blessed to have the greatest dad and brothers.  Sure wish my mom and Mike could have joined us for this picture.
The infamous grape trick.  Yes, I do it EVERY time I eat grapes.  Give me 2 grapes and I will show you.

Thankful these youngins let me hang out with them!

Gamma Xi or die.  I love these ladies.
Shakes as big as my head.
I was able to visit the cemetery for Memorial Day. So grateful families are forever!
Speaking of Forever Families, I was able to go to the Salt Lake Temple twice.  I love that place and the things I learned while I was there.

I am so thankful for this awesome trip!  Matt rocks for doing my job and his for a week.  I loved being a sister, daughter and friend.  I cherish the memories I made with my family and friends.  I am thankful to be back to being a mom and wife.  I am also enjoying my humidity and lower elevation.  Running at 6000 feet after you are accustomed to 600 is a different beast.
