Grad school here we come!

We just found out that Matt has been accepted to Indiana University for the MBA program. We are on the waiting list for University of North Carolina and are still waiting to hear from the University of Texas in Austin. We don't know where we will end up but now we know that we will be going! We are really excited! Yea Matt!

Super Cooper

One of Coopers super powers is to get hurt! Last night he pulled a table down on himself at Grandmas. I turned around as he is screaming to see both of his arms pinned under one of those folding church tables. It looked so freaky! Poor guy! He just wanted to cuddle for quite a while but then he was running around being his crazy self. He has bruises on both sides of the arm. He didn't seem to mind it much today, but I kept having this feeling I should have it x-rayed. So I took him in and sure enough it is fractured! Crazy kid! He loves the splint and keeps thrusting it forward and saying "To infininty and beyond!"

Ruby told me today that she wants to be a vet when she grows up. A few seconds later she said, "Or maybe I will work at McDonalds". Cooper wants to be a dog catcher! I just want to go to bed. 4 hours at the doctors office was plenty for me!

Happy Birthday to me!

Last year on my birthday someone asked Ruby how old I was and she said, "She's as old as Jesus was!" Now I am officially older than Jesus was! Matt and Ruby fixed a candle light dinner for me last night because today was fast Sunday. I got to teach the RS lesson on Joseph Smith. My favorite gift was a present I found on my bed. Matt and the kids were hiding under a blanket and I unwrapped my best present ever!

Yesterday was my moms 9th year death anniversary. I can't believe I haven't hugged my mom for 9 years! I miss her so much. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her. I feel so blessed to have such a great mom. I hope I am making her proud. Love you Mom!

Mother Theresa

People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Be good anyway.

Honesty and frankness will make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.

People need help, but may attack you if you try to help them.
Help them anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.

Happy New Year!!!

We celebrated the New Year by banging pots and pans at 8 with the kids, put them to bed and played Phase 10. We fell asleep early and I woke up to fireworks out side my window. I have thought of a few resolutions: get out of credit card debt, run a 10K with Matt, and focus on the positive things in life. Here is to a great year!

Crazy Kids

These are obviously not my kids, but I thought they were pretty funny!
