Relief!!!

It's all good! The tests they did on my eye show that there is a small spot that is bleeding but they were able to solve the problem with laser surgery. They gave me so many eye drops to numb my eye that it made my teeth numb! The laser surgery was freaky but it didn't hurt. I am so relieved that all is well. I am a worry wart, so it is so nice to know that I am not going to need a glass eye or a pirate patch...argh!!! I am so very thankful for all the things I can see with my eyes. I have done a lot of staring at the all the beautiful blossoms and my beautiful little buckaroos. So thankful to have healthy eyes!!!!
One of the best words to describe Rocky is JOLLY!!!! He exudes JOY!!
More joy! I realized these 2 were way to quiet the other day.

Spring!!!

Happy Easter!!! Every Easter, Grandma Rich would go in on Easter morning and tell her kids, "He is RISEN!" I love that tradition. This year she called us all the way from Germany with the great news. They will be finishing their mission next week! We are so proud of them and can't wait to see them in May!!!
I think Cooper fits in the Bumbo better than Rocky!
BLOOMINGton is busting out the blossoms. Every thing is turning GREEN. It is absolutely beautiful.
Speaking of absolutely beautiful, I sure love this girl and her 2 handsome brothers!

Retina Specialist

Saw the specialist today. Good news: no tear in my retina but I do have a retinal hemorrhage, whatever that means. I am supposed to go back for more tests to figure out what is going on. The word hemorrhage is very vague; does that mean a little spot or more? I have no idea. I told myself that I wouldn't look it up on the internet. I went 2 whole hours without looking. Ignorance was bliss, I shouldn't have looked. I am going to do my best to not freak out, but I am not very good at that.

Look into my eyes!

Rocky and I participated in an eye study a few weeks ago. As a bonus we both got free eye exams. I really had no reason to have one, other than it was free. The doctor did my exam and then told me there was a little spot she wanted someone to look at, so I am thinking, OH BOY this can't be good. The second doctor checked things out and told me that I have a small tear in my retina! I am going to see a specialist tomorrow to determine what to do next. Sure glad I went in for the eye exam! Best case scinario is that it will heal on its own. If not I may have to have laser surgery to fix the problem. Maybe it is a mote or a beam that they can cast out!

Can I just say how much I love my GAL PALS? I have so many great women in my life! I am so thankful for all the love and support I get from my friends (not just the ones pictured). It is crazy to think this whole MBA experience is winding down and we will be parting our separate ways. We have absolutely loved this place and all the great friends we have met. In case you were wondering, those are NOT rubber bands on Rocky's thighs!
I absolutely loved watching General Conference this weekend! I feel so blessed to be a mom and so honored that Heavenly Father trusts me with 3 of his children. I was amazed how many talks were about parenting and so grateful for the things I learned. It seems like most of the talks were specifically meant for me! The main thing I got out of this weekend is that Heavenly Father loves me and is very aware of my situation. I need to replace my fears with faith, do my best, and just keep on keeping on!

Man this time is FLYING by! This amazing little soul has been in my life 6 months. You just can't look at Rocky without smiling. Especially when he has "PEAD" his pants!
