These last few days....

Everything I do now I tell myself ...this is the last time I will sit through Sacrament Meeting for the last time, or this is my last Saturday being pregnant. I am so ready to be done with my support hose, my squished bladder, my constant hot flashes and my huge body.

BUT..... it makes me sad that I won't be feeling all the pokes and prods from my internal buddy. It is humbling to think where Rocky is and what he knows. He knows who he is and that Heavenly Father loves him. I hope he will always know that. I can't wait to see him and snuggle up for the next few months.

I am terrified to start over, I hope I can remember all the things I used to know. I hope I can still show my big kids all the love they need and make Rocky feel welcome. Yikes I am scared!

I feel so thankful for all my great friends and for all the love and support I feel away from my family at this time. I am totally feeling the love!

It is crazy to think my next post should be the one! I am on for 10/2 at 7:00 am! 5 days away!!!! Lets do it ROCKY!!!

Apple Dapple!

I always post pictures backwards! This is actually the end of the apple post, but aren't they cooooool!!!! Cooper thought he was pretty darn tricky when we made these.

What do I have in common with fall apples? We are both ready to be harvested! Matt loves getting shots from different angles. Sure glad you can see my toes over that belly!

We went with a bunch of Kelley Kids families to the Anderson Orchard. I had no idea there were that many kinds of apples! We even did some drive by apple picking. The kids thought it was so fun to pluck apples off the trees as they hung out the windows of the car, SAFETY FIRST! The best part (after getting the pregnant lady off the very bumpy dirt road) was the apple cider slushees, DEEE LISCHOUS!
We also picked 4 lbs of raspberries, OK probably 5, but they didn't check any of us on the scales for our before and after weights.

Cooper LOVES soccer! He is on the Germany team with a bunch of his buddies from church. He asks me every day, how many more sleeps until soccer?

Baby update: Went to another doctor in the practice and she told me I was 1cm and not effaced! I asked if the vault was sealing shut and she said the last doctor has smaller hands. What the heck?!* I will have lots of contractions one day and not so many the next. My guess is I will go until October 2 when I have my scheduled c-section.

Progress!

I went to the doctor today and she said I am 2 cm and 50% effaced! I have had lots of contractions today but nothing consistent. Sure wonder if it will be today or in 3 weeks (probably 3 weeks, just to make me crazy)! I will be 36 weeks tomorrow so it would be good to get in one more week. I will keep y'all posted.

Heaven

Can I just say that one of my favorite pass times is watching my belly move! This is most likely the last time I will ever experience the sacred opportunity of being pregnant. Even though I am ready to not be pregnant, I am cherishing all the wiggles, hiccups and bumps. It is crazy to think that we will have a new born in a month or less. I am scheduled for a c-section October 2 at 7:00. Can't wait to meet him! I love you buddy!

Back to School

Learning how to tackle!

School is starting or has started for everyone in the Rich family. We have had so much fun getting to know all the new first year students. It feels so good to be able to share what we have learned with others. There have been a ton of fun activities going on the last few weeks to get to know all the new families. We are so excited to have them here! We got to tour the newly remodeled football stadium and run around on the field. OK, I didn't run, I am more into waddling lately. Matt will start school on Monday. It has been so much fun to have him home. It is going to be wierd with nobody home for the next 5 weeks or less :). I have been volunteering a lot at the kids school to keep me out of trouble.

I finally have pictures of our 1st day of school from 3 weeks ago. I don't know why they were being so nice to each other that morning, don't worry, we are back to normal again. They are both loving school. The best part of the day was our welcome home from school party at the bus stop.

I was able to go to the Louisville, Kentucky temple. That is our closest temple, over a 2 hour drive. I went down with one of my darling friends from the ward. We had such a great time together. On the way down, we passed an "Adult" bookstore in the middle of nowhere. There was a tiny building right off the property with 2 little grannies passing out free bibles! There was also a sign posted saying they record all liscence plates and report them to your company. I thought it was hilarious. I wish I would have had my camera! On the way home, the car overheated so we had to drive home most of the way with the heater on and the windows open. Holy cow was that one hot and sweaty ride! I could have sworn that my water broke!

Back in B-Town

I can't find the cord to download my pictures to show what we have been up to but I will give you a quick update.

It feel so good to be back in Bloomington. I heart this place! My dudes are starting their 3rd week of school. They both love it. It was so weird to send Cooper on a bus to full day kindergarten! He didn't even want me to take him to school. I have always dreamed of having all my kids in school (ok and one in the belly), and I don't like it at all. I am not ready to have everyone gone. I am so glad Matt has been around and that Rocky is on his way.

Matt doesn't start school for another week. We have had a great time together. He got to go to SLC for a wedding. I was jealous until I heard how hot it was! I don't think it even hit 70 in Bloomington today. I am thanking my lucky stars for that! Today was his birthday, he got home just in time for us to celebrate with him. I made the yummiest ice cream that I have ever had. I love home made ice cream!!!!!

My belly is quite bulbous! I can't remember if I already posted this, Cooper likes to talk to Rocky. He shouts into my mouth! I guess that is much better than the alternative! I have a c-section scheduled for October 2, less than 6 weeks away!!! I feel great other than my veins. YIKES they HURT! I can't wait to meet this little dude. It is crazy how it still doesn't seem real, even as I watch my belly bulge to and fro!

Good-by-o to Ohio

It is crazy to think that we are done with Matt's internship. That time flew by. We loved our time in Ohio and loved the company he was with. I am so proud of him and all his hard work. We are going to miss the friends we made there and will always look back on our great memories.

It is crazy to think that we are now 2nd years in the MBA program, Cooper will start Kindergarten in 3 days, and we will have a newborn in 8 weeks or less! Life is coming at us fast!

I had no idea a cookie could hold so many sprinkles! And yes, he did eat the whole thing!
The Clippers game.
This is the same kid who wouldn't let go of me WITH arm rings on last summer. We went to the pool almost everyday.

I am going to miss the cool weather we had there (Bloomington has a heat advisory today :(). I am also going to miss having time to do whatever we wanted all day long. My dudes start school on Aug 12! We will be jumping right into busy life, a stark contrast from our lazy summer!

BTW my neighbors little yappy dog was jumping on my leg and I thought it was going to rip my $80 tights so I bent down (no small task at this point) to pet it. Next thing I know, I had chomp marks on my hand that broke the skin. GRRRR!

I ended up having to get a tetnis shot and have to be on some antibiotic so Rocky doesn't come out with RABIES! The chances of my kids having a dog is diminishing rapidly!
