Turning 9 and feeling fine.
We have partied all month long! Coop just turned 9. He has such a tender heart. Cooper wants to do the right thing. I am so blessed to be his momma. He loves: Lego, Star Wars, reading, Minecraft, Peanut butter and chocolate.
Ragnar Cape Cod 2013 Crouching Runner Hidden Van
Ragnar was so much fun last year I had to do it again!
Fresh pre-run cupcakes!
Fresh runners
I am done! 13 miles check!
Suggested food ideas vs. what we really ate...
ANNimal...
Van 2 minus Jessie G.
Crouching Runner Hidden Van
Cupcakes at the end of the race.
The runners were much like the cupcakes. We started fresh and feeling good. In the end we were all a sleepy, sweaty mess. We laughed, ate, ran, laughed, ran, ate, slept a little, laughed, ran and ate some more! Loved it! Can't wait until next year!

Boston Babes
Lolitas is a tasty little restaurant that Aimee, Jessie G, and myself thoroughly enjoyed. We loved the green apple cotton candy with pop rocks.
We visited the Boston Marathon Memorial right after the streets were opened up. It was amazing that in the middle of this busy city was a sacred memorial where everyone was totally silent. Once again I felt so blessed that we were safe through this ordeal. As I was signing one of the boards a woman asked if she could borrow my phone to call her husband. This really hit home for me, as a complete stranger offered her phone for Matt to call me at the end of the race. With tears in my eyes, I told the lady I would be honored to let her use my phone. In a small way I could pay it forward. I will never look at a pair of running shoes in the same way.
